Cllr Brian Mattock gained the final Old Town & Lawn seat for the Conservatives in 2006, beating the Liberal Democrats.

Brian has worked hard to improve local services and facilities for fellow local residents, of all ages.

Brian is a community activist helping support the community in a number of ways, though he is best known for his role as Chairman of the Old Town Festival committee.

Brian has supported developments where local shops and services are protected or improved.

Brian now a Cabinet Member works extremely hard to make sure local facilities are improved.

Brian is keen to promote engagement with local residents through the 'Connecting People, Connecting Places' meetings, which will be held throughout the year at local venues including the Croft Centre.
