42% Council Tax Hike In Just 3 Years!
Labour and their 'spend, spend, spend...' Liberal chums have forced through yet another crippling Council Tax hike. The Conservatives were defeated at the February Full Council meeting, with the 22 Labour Councillors and 8 Liberals defeating the 29 Conservatives.
Suffering local residents have now been hit by a disgraceful 42% hike in just 3 years.
Labour and their Liberal chums do not understand that our pay / pensions
has not gone up by 42% in just 3 years.
Local residents simply can not afford these endless Labour / Liberal Council Tax hikes.
Every single Conservative voted against these endless hikes.
It is only the Conservatives who drive down Council Tax.

Abbey Meads Conservative Councillor, Justin Tomlinson, "A 42% hike in just 3 years is totally unacceptable. Every year the Conservatives plans are voted down by the Labour and Liberal Councillors. The June local elections are crucial. We only need to gain 1 additional Conservative Councillor to give us overall control in Swindon. A Conservative Council will help stamp out the endless Council Tax hikes."
