May I congratulate Labour Councillor Maureen Caton on her abject failure in standing up for the residents of Moredon.
Thursday's Council Tax setting meeting was immensely soul destroying, a Councillor should stand up for the residents they represent. This "lead member" sat back and watched her Labour group vote through yet another 15% tax hike, not once did she mutter a word against this disgraceful tax hike - Kevin Small even stated that he thinks Swindon Council wastes little money.
It will now take me an entire month's pay to cover this extortionate tax hike, a 30% rise in 2 years....
This endless waste and mismanagement of Swindon Borough Council by her ruling Labour group is utterly shameful. Swindon needs disciplined councillors who can led the council with strong decisive action.
