North Swindon Conservatives have recorded a recordstart to the year for membership renewals and new members.
North Swindon Conservatives relies on money raised through membership and events to fund political campaigning, so the excellent start to 2003 isa real boost for the forthcoming crucial May elections.
Councillor Justin Tomlinson (Abbey Meads), who is the Deputy Chairman of North Swindon is delighted with the boost in membership. "Right across North Swindon we are seeing a surge in membership. Lapsed members are returning to the fold, responding to the high levels of political campaigning, and new members are joining as residents grow ever more angry at the endless waste and mismanagement of our Labour Council."
