Labour Councillors have voted in favour of a 15% Council Tax rise for 2003 / 04, which is a 32% hike in just 2 years! Labour have failed Swindon both locally and nationally. The Labour Government has cut funding to Swindon, which forced a 12.9% Council Tax rise, just to stand still. Locally the Labour Council has wasted so much of our money, whilst our Education & Social Services departments fail Government inspections. There is an endless list of how Labour have disgracefully wasted our money including: £125 000 on Councillors lap-tops It is our money they are wasting. With Labour you pay more, get less. |
